HOUSTON, TX /diversitybusiness.com/ Shell Oil Products US today announced that John R. Lickvar, chief procurement officer for Shell Oil Products US, has been invited to serve on the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) Procurement Council. In a letter to Shell in which Lickvar was invited to join the USHCC Procurement Council, George Herrera, USHCC president and CEO said, "The USHCC seeks to work closely with Shell Oil because of its strong commitment to advancing the economic development of Hispanic business ... we know that Shell Oil and the USHCC share similar goals and together we can work together to bring to the table, the ingenuity, creativity and leadership necessary to assist Hispanic businesses achieve a competitive advantage." Lickvar, a 24-year veteran of Shell, oversees procurement activities for Shell Oil Products US and its affiliate Motiva Enterprises LLC.
