Chartis Names Gretchen A. Hayes Chief Diversity Officer |
New York, NY, June 10, 2010 / -- Chartis Inc., a world leader in property-casualty and general insurance, today announced the appointment of Gretchen A. Hayes as Chief Diversity Officer, responsible for Chartis’ diversity initiatives including talent acquisition, retention and development, community outreach, supplier diversity, distribution channels, and product development.

Ms. Hayes was most recently appointed Executive Vice President of Chartis International’s Corporate Accounts Practice. She has held senior positions in both the U.S. and International businesses, including serving as President of the Strategic Relationship Group (SRG), President of the eBusiness Risk Solutions unit, and Senior Vice President of Global Trade and Political Risk Insurance. She received B.A. degrees in English Literature and Economics from the University of the Pacific in California.
