Minority Businesses Invited to Harrah's Diversity Vendor Fair

 

LAS VEGAS, Nevada, Oct. 09/DiversityBusiness.com/ -- Seeking opportunities to share their success with a broad spectrum of the eastern Pennsylvania business community, Harrah's Chester Casino & Racetrack and Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:HET) today announced plans to host a vendor event for diverse businesses in and near Chester, Pa. - home to the gaming entertainment company's newest location.

"The Harrah's Chester Casino & Racetrack Supplier Diversity Expo - A New Dimension in Diversity" will be held Monday, October 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Chester City Hall. The event will provide information to minority-owned, women-owned and disadvantaged businesses in Chester, Delaware County and southeastern Pennsylvania on the process to become a provider of best-in-class services and products to Harrah's Chester.

"We are thrilled that the Harrah's Chester racetrack and simulcast facility are now open, and know that this entire community has high hopes and expectations for our presence here," said Vince Donlevie, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah's Chester. "This event is part of our business strategy to seek out, identify and do business with a diversified group of local and regional vendors, as this is a key element of our success. We look forward to sharing information with local minority and women entrepreneurs on the many opportunities available to do business with our company."

Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other local businesses, chambers of commerce and community organizations.
