The Triangle-based Clarkston Consulting ranked 8 on the list of 50. The rankings were determined by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, who evaluated locally headquartered private companies based on a formula that takes into account both dollar growth and percentage rate of growth over a three-year period.
