Ebony Magazine was published and founded by its well renowned originator, the late John H. Johnson, in 1945. Since inception, Ebony has always strived to address imperative issues that pertain to the African American community; ranging in topics such as politics, entertainment, health and beauty, career/finance, arts & culture, environmental and much more. Ebony’s magazine cover features the most current and prominent African-American figures that have made an impact within the African American and community at-large.
