Comcast Promotes Grace Killelea to Senior Vice President of Talent for Comcast Cable
Philadelphia, PA/ Jan. 06, 2010 / -- Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), the nation’s leading provider of entertainment, information, and communications products and services, today announced that it has promoted Grace Killelea to Senior Vice President of Talent for Comcast Cable.

The newly created role combines oversight of Comcast’s talent acquisition, talent management and diversity recruitment into one senior level position for the company. Killelea previously served as Vice President of Talent Management and Leadership Initiatives for Comcast Cable and Vice President of Human Resources for Comcast Spotlight where she was recognized for partnering with business leaders nationwide to identify top internal talent.

Killelea has more than 25 years of progressive Human Resource experience. Prior to joining Comcast, Killelea held the positions of Senior Vice President for Lifetime Television, Vice President for Prime Communications and Director of Human Resources for SBC Communications. Also, she was the Founder and President of Sterling Resource Group.

Killelea holds a master’s degree from the Kogod School of Business at American University. She is a National facilitator for Betsy Magness Leadership Institute and a graduate of the Institute’s Class VI, which is the premier leadership program for women in the telecommunications industry. Killelea also serves on the Board of Directors for the Emma Bowen Foundation which promotes diversity by providing minority high school and college age students with an opportunity to pursue their interests in media and communications through a multi-year work/study program.

Killelea is the recipient of numerous awards for her achievements. In 2009, she was named one of CableFax’s “Women on the Move.” She was one of DiversityPlus magazine’s “Women in Power” in 2008 and was the 2007 WICT Northern California Chapter “Mentor of the Year.” In 2006, Killelea received the inaugural WICT Philadelphia Chapter “Lucille Larkin Lifetime Achievement Award” for her innovative leadership, dedication, and spirit.
